Web Services integrated

Oh – by the way – if you didn’t notice so far – I integrated the Amazon.com Web Services yesterday using the MTAmazon plugin for the Movabletype CMS.

The web service technique exposes search- and display functions of Amazon.Com (NOT Amazon.De or Amazon. At !!!) as SOAP interfaces. These interfaces are called and the response is cached and stored on my page together with associate links.

Based on the titles, keywords and excerpt I enter, the Amazon web services return more or less related books.

Everytime I post a new entry I am amazed for myself, if and what article the web service might relate to it… sometimes funny relations, but that gives me some inspirations…
