Block P2P scanners

the PeerGuardian 2 IP Database contains IP-ranges from P2P-scanners of P2P-enemies like Universal or other music labels… idea is to just block these adresses on your firewall directly… PeerGuardian2 itself is a mini-firewall capable of blocking IPs…

interesting feature seems to be the Zonealarm 4 Pro XML format, which should be imported into the popular ZoneLabs ZoneAlarm personal firewall program.

I noticed that the provided XML for import is very malformed, so i fixed it and provide a current one on my page.

Download PeerGuardian2 ZoneAlarm 4 Pro XML file

update: Edl of course advises, that conversion from/to all various formats like Linux IP-Tables, Emule IPfilter.dat, etc… can be done at bluetack

Block P2P scanners

So, while I appreciate the fix on the ZA XML file, I have failed to find any information that explains how to import the file to ZA. Not even comments from ZA tech support will answer the question. So, would it be possible for you to post the procedure for us newbies who want to take advantage and be protected?

Thank you in advance.
