NewsGator 1.3 with offline Posting and NNTP support

Just on Business Wire read that NewsGator 1.3, an outlook-integrated RSS newsfeed reader – was released with new Newsgroup support (NNTP) in addition to the RSS reading capabilities for outlook.

They also promise an offline posting mode – composing stuff to post when online later on… sounds like a very handy corporate notebook-blogging feature when on travel…

Other new features include ability to create draft of post, CSS formatting for NewsGator posts (nice!), ability to select which feeds appear on the NewsPage (sort of private-syndication), support for Outlook profiles – especially enabling/disabling NewsGator for multiple profiles.

The new posting-support is available since version 1.2 – various blog-types supported by plugins for posting are found on plugin-page – check it out.
