Oh yeah, thanks to an flash upgrade via CD my ELTA8882 now plays DivX 3.11, PCM audio in AVI files and the BIVX (dual sound channel DIVx5) format works without flickering and hangups… cool even the DVD with 4 Gigs of digi-pics loads – well – quite slow and without folder support – but hey – in 1 or 2 yrs everything will be fixed…

I am happy that they at last implemented some missing things and provided a flash upgrade (can YOU upgrade your consumer hardware????) —- on the other hand: I would have expected them to deliver a seamless working device – which might not be possible for vendors delivering Linux/PC based hardware… according to trade journals all other DIVX capable players including KISS had some troubles with initials releases…

now go and get that 1.0.0.6 upgrade ...
