Url-Rewriting disabled by DR2.NET => sucking 404s and extra work

My provider DR2.NET suddenly disabled URL-Rewriting and caused me a hell lot of 404 and problems all over the site… which is not really funny… and the problems persists for 2 weeks now!

I work-arounded most of them with temp redirect in the .htaccess, but structurial things I changed on the site in june/july cannot be fixed!


Although please take care that URLs in the format of

http://weblog.cemper.com/a/2003/07/21_eclipse_30_m2_new_and_noteworthy.php

can only be accessed now as

http://weblog.cemper.com/a/200307/21-eclipse-30-m2-new-and-noteworthy.php

(note the missing / between month and year and the minusses…!)

sorry for the inconvience, I hope they find the problem some day…
