Lookout email search for Microsoft Outlook is a great Microsoft OutlookTM plug-in creating a full text, word stemmed text index for your email, attachments, contacts, calendar and filesystem files (yes – your personal word documents, html docs or whatever you wish to index).

Search results come back almost instantaneously. It's like having Google for your mailbox! I have been trying their beta now for a few days and it's amazing… you have to get used to fast searching your mailbox…

I even forget sometimes that searching my email is not a hassle anymore… their beta is free so far, but I am willing to pay whatever they charge me to get their full version when it's out! That's what I always needed combined with a great like-good-old-Personal-Altavista "indexing tool".
