Nova from Minding the Planet pointed me to a new patent by Microsoft – for transmitting power and through the human body… This is freaky… I mean technological I can imagine that you can use low voltage power for such applications, but hey – do you want your MP3 player get his data from the battery-pack in your shoes ? :-)
