Joyce Trout Fired From Friendster For Blogging

Jeremy's post Fired for Blogging really shocked me a bit… bloggers are somewhat more creative and self-empowered than the ususal nine-to-five workers you meet everyday… Why would someone get fired for such a great hobby – the content? the time someone devotes to his personal enrichment versus those of the company's ???

Who knows? I guess this could be just "a reason" for any personal problem between the manager and the fired Joyce ... not sure about it, as I have not read all the posts…

For me it looks like the dude Jeff Winner that's called VP of engineering at friendster got setup because Joyce pointed out that friendster sucked because of a bad designed Java/JSP implementation – welll like most bad designed applications suck… I guess that was his baby —- what do you think?

This is the best sample for really bad people management… firing the brigther people for criticism or understanding the companies problems … paah…

Joyce – congratulations for leaving those suckers..
