Critial IE flaw to access local file, patch disable Google Adsense ads

A bit to hectic in Redmond probably today… right after a Corker of an IE vulnerability was found – with a testprogram you could place files all over your harddisk by accessing a web site and even delete files – MS released a quick hack security update for IE …

Well – that problem was actually found in Summer already

Quote:

love how they say its "New". They forget to mention a spyware company in the summer used the exploit and was sued by the FTC and microsoft and forced to shut down. Microsoft couldn't come out with a fix in sp2 because the problem was burried really deep.

Now this quick hack disabled Google Adsense (and probably other ads) ... bug or a feature by MS ? why didn't they yet start any MSN PPC program?

Revenue's for Google and partners will drop very sharp I think…
