Google Acquires Urchin Web Analytics

Google Inc. announced yesterday it has agreed to acquire Urchin Software Corporation, the San Diego, California based web analytics company.

Urchin is a high-end web site analytics solution used by web site owners and marketers to better understand their users' experiences, optimize content and track marketing performance.

Urchin is often provided in bigger hosting packages for web hosts – probably with large volume accounts…

Even I got a 300 domain license for Urchin with my server. However I let it uninstal again, as not even thePlanet staff could find out how to make it work seamless with Cpanel/WHM and most important take care of the growing disk fuel load.
