Interesting search engines releases:

the Google Patent on historical data was released now… actually containing content from back December 2003 (where a big Google Update "Florida" shocked thousands of webmasters… probably the first implementation of several of these points…)

This US Google Patent describes a dozen methods for analyzing, scoring and ranking a number of web documents related to their domain names, inbound links, outbound links, content changes or staleness, the age of all of that and so forth…
