Google Web Accelerator pulled back due to bugs and how to filter GWA and PreFetch

Some nice threads on the new Google Web Accelerator that decided to pull back the newly released web accelrator. According to Google's website here is the reason:

I am not really sure if it was coincidence that Google failed just the same day they pulled back the GWA... did they just underestimate the surfing traffic that would hit their datacenters… no… that can't be. Or did Google really make a little mistake ? :-)
