Opera 9 web browser release - widget and bit torrent support

"Opera 9 final version is available for download" – it has a new widget framework available, which allows developers to easily enhace the functionality of Opera … there are tons of widgets available for opera, including a couple of nice tools, games and fun stuff… also it has built-in BitTorrent support

Widgets use HTML, JavaScript and CSS, and can use other technologies such as SVG. Widgets can use AJAX technologies to create powerful cross-domain web applications.

With Opera now opening up for plugin extensions just as FireFox I'm keen to see the Opera Community ship just as many plugins as we've seen for FireFox ...

honestly, I would prefer to have A LOT of FF plugins for Opera, since I am STILL using opera for it's unparalleled browsing and navigation speed for 99% of the internet work…
