My Phonenumber used for credit card fraud

I just got a call from a guy called Fernando something who claimed to be from Universal Entertainment in reference to a credit card application. He wanted to verify the information somebody typed it – and it sounds like they used my US phone number (609) 9100 SEO ... :-/

Does that sound familiar?

Does "Universal Entertainment" file credit cards?

Why do I waste my time with such crap?
