Browsing the module repository today I came across these three cool new AJAXish drupal extensions

TimeLine

Timeline is a DHTML-based AJAXy widget for visualizing temporal information.

It works in a similar way as Google Maps but for time-based events. It's damn cool and I immediately starting making up possible uses… as I won't have much time for them I can share this module with you as well :-)

Yet another star rating script, uses jQuery to produce accessible rating forms for nodes, which means it also works WITHOUT Javascript

this module creates a funky slideshow with smooth cross-fading effects of

images belonging to a chosen term – what's even cooler is that the teaser of the image-node is faded in and out at the border of the slideshow-box.
