I was blog-tagged by some bored guys on the weekend… nothing bad at all..
it's a chain mail like game called
blog tagging
...
and the difference is that you don't have to be afraid to break the chain because of some wild ancient curse, no loss of stamina or libido and no other crap that those chain mails usually threaten you with – it's just a nice plug for social self-promo to tell people five things about you – a nice conversation started for the next meeting or phone call … cool
So two friends already tagged me from their posts

Dave Zuls the Hawaii SEO
and

Marcus Tandler aka MediaDonis (the Dancing Allstar SEO with a cool dance performance on German Tv and Greg Boser's birthday )
So since I got tagged twice to my tech blog and my marketing blog and already got listed twice in SoloSeo's tag tree I think I need to write 2 × 5 secrets plus select 2 × 5 people … let's see if I can manage THAT
So here are
five things you didn't know about me
(5 more are here )
- I have been programming software for 20 years – at least – completed the first good c64 assembler code at age of 12 I sold my first games created on the commodore 64 at age of 15 to german publishers… you can download some of them to a C64 emulator if you like to …
- While I loved to play stuff like Warcraft, Dune and other adventure style games (even Diablo) with insance efforts – up 20 hours in a row – I stopped playing them some years ago —- all except Tetris… I guess the playing stopped when my job started being more fun then following some stupid game script :-)
- I've been working as software developer for 15 years, became a successfull project manager (that's why I'm writing about project management also ) but quit my day job to pursue my own online marketing business as a PM when my friend JD asked me "So christoph, how much more do you need to make to quit your job" :
) ... haha… I already made more on the side than with a painful and exhausting day job :) that's where I started to dive into online marketing
- I am a pretty perfectionist with certain things, while I don't give a shit about other things… a bit schizo I'd say… and the valuation of what things are important is not always compatible with other people around me :-)
- I met all the really important women in my life online for the last 7 years already (ok – only TWO important girls in that time ) – but anyhow, I assume I am made for online-dating … never had any meaningful relation with pure offline contacts – and some friends still start to freak out when they hear that… I just wonder – how come they find the REAL ONE just by hanging around at the places they hang around all the time? that can't be it ! :-)
So ending this bonus post I'm taggin JD , D'arcy Norman , Robert Douglas and my oldest computer scene friend Mahtiaivo aka Reebok of TMB (20 yrs anniversary Stephan!)
