I finally setup the Copperleaf photo blogger plugin after upgrading my travel report site to Wordpress 1.5.2 and gave it a new look & feel… I still have 2 separate issues that somehow seem to derive from the conversion logic…

I received an abnormal high number of signals and messages from people abandoning their Wordpress blogs,

because of their hacks, just like Fridaynite did .

It appears to me that simply because there are so many vulnerable Wordpress installations out there, it became a promising goal

to hack Wordpress installs and

• inject some HTML code (for links)
• inject WHOLE POSTS into the wordpress archives (backdated)

• put in some cookie-stuffing code in to overwrite affiliate links’ credits

I just came across this WordPress 2.x Plugin called Show Top Commentators which should encourage more discussion from your readers, by displaying their names (linked to their website if desired) and number of comments they have made recently to your sidebar.

So far I have no idea if this cool function is available for drupal,

but I think it could be worthwhile implementing such a plugin.
