I guess I'm getting nuts… do you guys know those spam emails that pass ALL the spam filters?

I have a spam-assassin chained thru a gmail account and ON A CONSTANT MULTIPLE TIMES PER DAY BASIS I go to the damn gmail and mark stuff as spam…oh – and when I re-download my mails I pipe them thru another local spam filter – K9 - which has been trained for 2 years..

Yet I get those "RE: my something" mails with image spam get thru…

And I could even setup a cool Outlook rule to capture everything that still get's thru those 3 spam filters

Those emails have ALL

• different from-names
• different from-mail addresses
• clean X-SPAM etc. headers, means no spam filter found something
• all got a pharaceutical image spam ad
• all got an obviously generated, but pretty well reading crap text
• and ALL seem to be a reply to something personal starting with "my"

It's time for more advanced spam rules

1. Create a new outlook filter catching "RE: my"

2. let the emails be sorted to a separate directory or filter-view

3. then every few hours you can delete 100+ mails from there,

as they ALL look similar (to a human) and you can spot real replies

within the fraction of a millisecond

Problem is, that I didn't see this pattern when they were INBETWEEN my other emails… they were a real PITA !
